Chris Ford brings over 25 years of steel industry experience to the role Vice President – Commercial at Algoma Steel Inc. With a proven track record in sales, Chris has been a dedicated and integral part of Algoma’s success for over two decades.

Beginning his journey with Algoma Steel in 1997 as a sales representative, Chris quickly demonstrated his commitment and talent in driving sales growth and business development. Over the years, he has risen through the sales organization, showcasing his strategic vision, leadership skills, and deep understanding of the North American steel market.  In his most recent role, Director of US Sales and Customer Service, Chris played a pivotal role in expanding the Algoma’s presence in North America and ensuring exceptional customer service.
