Algoma Steel generates by-products from its operations.  As an environmentally conscious manufacturer, Algoma Steel recycles as much as possible and offers the remainder for sale through the Request for Quotation process.  Used assets and redundant maintenance, repairs and operations inventory are also sold as they become available.
