Loris Molino joined Algoma Steel Inc. in 2019 as General Manager of Health & Safety, Security, and Environment. He was appointed Vice President of Maintenance and Operating services in 2022 with accountability for  ensuring optimal operational reliability and shipping performance  Prior to joining Algoma, Loris was employed with Vale where he acquired over 30 years of experience in the mining industry holding positions with their Base Metals division in operations, technology, and project development.

Mr. Molino holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in chemical engineering from Queen’s University and a Masters and PhD in chemical engineering from McMaster University. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
